The Aaron Lack Steelpan Ensemble is dedicated to performing the traditional music of the steelpan and to adapting American popular music to the instrument. The traditional music of the steelpan or steeldrum includes calypsos and socas from the south carribean nation of Trinidad-Tobago. The steelpan has been developing as an instrument for the last 60-70 years and is gaining world-wide popularity.
